  • And ancillary woodlands to the west of kilbride hill house. The development will consist of construction of 43 no dwellings, the extension of the existing gate lodge and the creation of a new curtilage for kilbride hill house which will be retained as a private residence. An existing log shed, glass house and pump house will be demolished (total area c31.61 sqm). The ancillary woodland to the west of kilbride hill house will remain undeveloped excepting the proposed upgrading and lighting of an existing pedestrian path located adjacent to aston wood and accessed from herbert road. The 43 no dwellings will comprise 14 no two storey 4 bed detached dwellings, 1 no two storey 3 bed detached dwelling and 28 no two storey 3 bed semi detached dwellings, an existing modern extension to the gate locate of c 14.2 sqm will be demolished and a single storey extension of c 51.1 sqm constructed to provide a 2 bed dwelling. The total number of existing and proposed dwellings will be 45 no. The proposed development will include 90 no car parking spaces to be provided on street and within curtilage, provision of public open spaces totalling c 4581 sqm (plus incidental open spaces totalling c 8973 sqm) and a childrens play area, pedestrian links to the woodland to the north west of the site, and all associated site services and site works. The existing entrance will be retained and upgraded. The completed development will be maintained by an estate management company
