  • To carry out the following development: for the redevelopment of a former retail storage building to provide a 2-storey office building. The proposed development will include
  • The change of use of the building to office accommodation
  • Demolition of the steel framed and clad building located at the rear (south) of the site
  • Carry out alterations and additions to the existing building on monastery lane and construct a new 2 storey extension to the rear of same
  • Demolish northern section of digital hub stone boundary wall and set back to provide off-road parking spaces
  • Provide new pedestrian footpath from the digital hub car park entrance to connect with the existing footpath located on monastery lane
  • Connect to existing adjacent public services
  • All ancillary site works. The development proposes works to the exterior of the structure that is located within ennistimon's architectural conservation area and these works would materially affect the characher of the area. In accordance with the habitats directive, appropriate assessment screening has been carried out on the project, and the screening report accompanies the application. In accordance with articles 81 and 120 of the planning & development regulations 2001, as amended, clare county council has concluded front an eia screening determination that no significant effects on the environment are likely as a result of the proposed development and that and environmental impact assessment is not required
