Development description
Permission for modifications to a permitted office development consent on a site subject to permission tp07/32561 as previously amended by tp14/36201 at the former ma/comm site. The proposal includes the omission of the previously permitted under croft car park and associated access/egress ramps, associated pedestrian access and the relocation of car parking to surface level on the eastern section of the site, the relocation/redesign of the permitted café allowing for café/retail use (including security office and plant room), revisions of elevations of blocks a and d to address condition 2 of tp07/32561 and associated ancillary building changes, amalgamation of buildings b, c and e to the rear(east) of the site into one building and the omission of building f. This will provide for the amalgamation, and inclusion of part of their permitted floor space into a single building of four floors over ground floor with a consequent overall reduction in permitted floor space (a reduction in car parking on site from 668 spaces to 517 spaces), provision of a stand alone utility building, associated cycle parking, revised landscaping and layout alterations adjacent to loughmahon link road. All office buildings on site will provide for general offices and/or business & technology uses and/or office based industry uses on all floors and the proposed office space will be designed to be suitable for single user or multiple users with subdivisions.
