Permission for modifications to the existing warehouse building and all ancillary site development works at the former banta site, hollymount industrial estate, hollyhill, cork. The proposed development consists of a change of use of part of the existing warehouse building to use as a testing and measurement facility with ancillary office use and modifications to the building consisting of: the construction of a new mezzanine floor; and modifications to the façade including (1) new windows at first floor level, relocation of doors and opening; and (2) the installation of extract fans and associated ducts. The proposed site development works include: (a) the removal of 1 no. Existing shelter; (b) the relocation of an existing generator; (c) installation of a bicycle rack; (d) the construction of an external plant enclosure comprising of a back up generator with associated diesel tank, air chiller with associated circulation pumps, 2 no. Air handling units, 4 no. External condenser units and gas storage tanks; and (e) an external plant enclosure comprising of an air handling unit.
