Permission for development of this site at morrisons quay, cork, comprising of the following addresses: 9-14 morrisons quay, 5 and 5a fitton street, 1 keeffe street and adjoining lands backing onto catherine street/keeffe street. The site is bounded generally by fitton street east to the north, morrisons quay to the east, catherine street to the south and keeffe street to the west. The existing buildings no's. 11, 12 and 13 morrisons quay are protected structures (ps reference nos. 1152 (no. 11), 1155 (no. S 12 and 13). The development will consist of modifications to permission reg. Ref. : 20/39418 to include the following: minor internal reconfigurations including relocation of the stair cores, and amendments to the internal layouts of bedrooms, linen rooms and corridor spaces. Minor external alterations including the repositioning of windows, increased windowsill height, change in materials, alteration to the roof angle and removal of step in fitton street elevation. Provision of escape route from the internal courtyard to morrisons quay, repositioning of office entrance along morrisons quay, and amendments to the entrance along keeffe street. Relocation of the water tank from the basement to the internal courtyard, and omission of the basement. A reduction in the overall gross floor areaby 123.1sqm, resulting in a total gross floor area of 8564.6sqm. All associated site development works, internal modifications and services provision. The remainder of the development to be carried out in accordance with permission reg. Ref. : 20/39418.
