Proposed investigation works are as follows: area a-investigation to confirm the condition of the front lightwell/damp ingress. Raised paved area built up adjacent the basement window. Please note this investigation is limited to the external only to examine the infilling of the light well. Area b - investigation to confirm the condition of the front lower ground under-stairs entrance and existence of blocked up window. Area c - investigation to confirm the composition of the basement concrete slab. Area d- investigation to confirm the condition of rear drainage causing water ingress at basement level adjacent the external stairwell. Area e-investigation of corroded cast iron girder supporting the suspended bridge across the rear light well. Area f-removal of the duct to the rear window and make good on completion. Area g- investigation internally to the front and rear wall where dry-lined to assess the effects of long- term water ingress (elevated ground levels to front and blocked drainage to the rear).
