The proposed development shall consist of: (i) replacement of an existing two storey bay to the front (north) elevation, (ii) removal of an existing two storey bay to the rear (south) elevation and (iii) the removal of an existing boiler room to the side (east) elevation. (iv) construction of a new two storey faceted bay to the front (north) elevation, (v) construction of a new single storey extension to the rear (south) of the dwelling at ground floor level, (vi) construction of a new bay window on the rear gable at first floor level to replace existing, (vii) formation of a new single arched window opening on the rear gable at second floor level to replace existing window openings, (viii) construction of a new single storey plant room on the side elevation (east) to accommodate a new sustainable heating system. (ix) works are to include the installation of a new apex rooflight to the existing roof of the rear facing gable, minor internal alterations, refurbishment of the existing external fabric including replacement of the existing roof finishes and flashings, upgrades to existing rain water goods, soffits and fascias and replacement of existing windows with new thermally efficient windows, installation of photovoltaic solar collector panels to the existing roof and all associated site development works.
