The proposed amendments include: (a) the demolition and removal of part of the existing single storey dock leveller building attached to the east of block f at ground floor level; (b) making good of retained concrete staircase forming part of dock leveller building that provides a means of escape from basement to ground level - external alterations to this structure include the construction of new southern wall and part eastern and western walls plus roof to enclose the stairwell; (c) external alterations to ground floor eastern elevation of block f (where dock leveller building is attached) to provide curtain wall glazing to match the existing appearance and finish of block f; (d) reinstatement of the site occupied by the dock leveller building through the provision of hard and soft landscaping works; (e) the erection of a new 2.5m high metal fence and gate to fill the gap (approximately 25.93m in length) between the eastern elevaion of block f and the existing 2.5m metal fence to the east of the site (to be retained).
