Development description

In planning permission ref. D25a/0437 we describe the finish of the house to be render and cladding with a contemporary design that will ensure an adequate level of visual harmony with the surroundings. We propose to include cladding on the west and east sides of the extension. A secondary rainwater downpipe is also proposed on the west side of the extension to ensure adequate roof drainage. We respectfully submit that the proposed variations are minor in nature, do not alter the scale, massing or footprint of the permitted development and are consistent with the character of the existing dwelling and the surrounding area, as shown on the attached drawings. We therefore request a declaration under section 5 of the planning and development act 2000.
