Development description

The development consists of a temporary wastewater pre-treatment plant connected to the public wastewater sewer, including block retaining walls, enclosure fence and associated site works. As per the uisce éireann connection agreement, the plant is temporary pending uisce éireann’s upgrade of the local wastewater treatment infrastructure. The temporary plant will be disconnected and decommissioned on completion of the upgrade, the development will be removed and the land levelled and seeded and restored to its function as public open space in accordance with planning permission f17a/0357. The system is self-contained and there is no percolation area or other ground discharge system associated with the plant.
