  • The principal activities associated with the proposed development will take place over an area of 1.5 hectares and include the following
  • The infill of the 66,000 tonnes consisting of inert soil & stone over a 5 year period, (i. E. Soils, subsoils and stone) which will be utilised for agricultural purposes once complete
  • The infill and restoration will be completed under an article 27 of the european communities (waste directive) regulations 2011 (s. I. No 126 of 2011)
  • The proposed further use of the soil and stone fulfils all relevant product, environmental and health protection requirements for the specific use and will not lead to overall adverse environmental or human health impacts; and
  • Use of the existing site entrance and establishment of temporary haul route. Onsite equipment includes
  • Wheel wash facility with storage water tanks
  • Temporary site plant & equipment
  • Temporary site office, welfare facilities; and
  • Temporary silt trap to be deployed along the 10m buffer zone boundary. Regarding the planning and development regulations 2001 (as amended) and under article 27(1)(a) a natura impact statement has been submitted with this application. The natura impact statement will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the office of the relevant planning authority
