  • Permission for development which consists of: we, choice hotel group, intend to apply for permission for development at this site located at flood street and new dock street, galway. The development will comprise a change of use and refurbishment of a residential house, to provide an additional 20 no. Rooms at the existing house hotel, which is a protected structure (rps 6701). The proposed development comprises the following
  • Construction of an external glazed link (gfa 5.4 sqm at each floor level) connecting the two buildings at each level
  • Modifications to the existing entrance steps and existing hotel bedrooms to allow for connecting corridor
  • Internal modifications to the existing ground, first and second floors of the former residential building to provide 15 no. Hotel bedrooms
  • Conversion of roof space to provide an additional floor to the existing residential building to facilitate 5 no. Hotel bedrooms
  • Addition of secondary fire escape stairs to the rear of external yard
