The development will consist of the restoration of an area of a disused sand and gravel pit, back to agricultural use. The proposed site covers approx. 6.4 hectares and approx. 116,000 cubic metres (185,6000 tonnes) of uncontaminated soil and stone is to be imported under a waste facility permit over a period of 8 to 10 years. The annual tonnage accepted will be up to 20,000.
