The redevelopment of the existing school and its grounds at sexton street, limerick (eircode v94 nf25). It is noted that the development is proposed to be undertaken within the demesne of protected structure (main school building: rps city no: 3357 / niah 21518032) the overall development will consist of classrooms, specialist teaching spaces, social spaces, multi-purpose halt, special education needs unit, reception offices and ancillary accommodation. Services to include roof mounted photovoltaic panels, boiler, esb substation kiosk and gas compound, proposed attenuation tank, underground fire fighting storage tank and public lighting. These educational uses are achieved and accommodated within the development described as: (i) demolition of circa 1970's & 1980's extension buildings to the rear of the main school building (including sports hall) (ii) the conservation and renovation of existing historic school buildings.
