Kw investment funds icav acting for and on behalf of its sub fund kw investment fund viii, apply for planning permission for development at a site adjacent to the southern entrance to the marshes shopping centre, marshes lower, dundalk, co. Louth. The site is bounded by the marshes shopping centre and associated service and carparking areas to the north and east, the dundalk gaels gaa pitch to the west, and a public road known as bothar an iarainn to the south. The proposed development will consist of a single storey cafe incorporating a drive-through facility. The proposed cafe will include an internal seating area; an internal bin storage area; wall mounted signage on the northern, eastern and western elevations with a single free-standing totem sign also proposed along the eastern site boundary. Vehicular access is provided via a new access in the north-east corner of the site in the same position as that previously permitted under p. A ref. No. 02/177.20 no. Surface car parking spaces (including 2 no. Lay-by spaces) are provided in the northern and eastern part of the site. The proposed development also provides for all associated site development including boundary treatments, site services, lighting and landscaping works.
