The department of education and youth intend to apply for planning permission for development at this c. 2.8454ha site located on lands at dublin road, enfield, co. Meath. The proposed development consists of amendments to the permitted site layout of enfield community college (meath county council reg. Ref. Ta20/1224), to facilitate the expansion and reconfiguration of the site. The proposed amendments include the relocation and rearrangement of the snu hard and soft play area with privacy hedge (c. 218 sq. M); sensory garden (c. 934 sq. M); car drop-off and snu drop-off area; bicycle parking spaces; pedestrian entrance and cycle path; car-parking area; delivery and emergency access; and hard and soft landscaping areas. The proposed development also involves the removal of 1 no. Existing temporary school building (c. 365 sq. M) to the south of the site. The proposed development will also consist of the provision of a new school garden (c. 163 sq.
