The construction of a type 1 carriageway for a distance of 3.1km from the townland of tullygrimes to the townland of annaghervy. The n54 realignment will consist of 7.3km carriageway with 2x2.5km hard shoulders and 2 x 3m verges, the provision of a ghost island junction located at the junction of the n54 with the r187 regional road and at the junction of the n54 with the local road l1600. The local roads l16004 and l1600 will be realigned to provide a stagger type junction with the local roads l21803 and l16005.
