FINDINGS: All identified sites have been extensively examined and appraised, and the results have been outline above. As a result of this Planning and Infrastructural Assessment, all identified residential sites fall within Tier 1 and are appropriate for zoning within the Plan, subject to the required housing targets and population growth as detailed in the Roscommon County Development Plan. It is also recommended that the employment sites examined have the potential to be developed for economic uses during the lifetime of the Plan and are also classed. 5 The Strokestown Wastewater treatment plant has a design PE (population equivalent) of 1,900.
