  • 39 no. Apartments (7 no. One bedroom units, 23 no. Two bedroom units and 9 no. Three - bedroom units) in a four storey building over basement with a total gross floor area of c. 3,496 sq. M. A total of 39 no. Car parking spaces including 3 no. Disabled parking spaces shall be provided all at basement level, accessed via a ramped entrance road. Vehicular access with gates and pedestrian access gates is taken from castlegate vale (reg. Ref. Sdz06a/0006). Private and semi - private open space to cater for the development is provided in a mix of balconies, terraces and semi private landscaped gardens. Covered vehicular entrance is proposed to and from basement level. Refuse and recycling storage facilities are proposed at surface level. 40 no cycle parking spaces and ancillary plant, energy and service facilities are proposed at basement level. A further 12 no cycle parking spaces for visitors are provided at surface level. The proposed development includes all hard and soft landscaping; boundary treatments and all other site development works. Minor revisions are proposed to castlegate vale comprising the provision of 3 no. Additional visitor car parking spaces on the southern site on lands bounded generally by adamstown avenue to the north, castlegate vale and castlegate downs to the east, adamstown community college to the south and future development lands to the west.
