Alterations to the previously granted solar farm in the townlands of ballynagrana and deerparklodge, carrick-on-suir, co. Tipperary (tipperary county council reg ref. 16600640, and an bord pleanála reg ref. Pl92.248089) as amended by tipperary county council reg ref. 19600120. Permission was originally granted for a solar photovoltaic installation comprising up to 36,500 m2 of solar panels on ground mounted frames, 6 no. Inverters housed in 3 units, 1 no. 20kv substation, security fencing, new entrance onto public road, cctv; underground cable and ducts including cable and ducts along the public road to the entrance of the existing deerpark substation within the townland of deerparklodge, carrick-on-suir, co. Tipperary and all associated ancillary development works and services. Permission was subsequently granted for three battery storage containers, alterations to the approved planning boundary and the operational permission of the solar farm from 25 to 30 years. Permission is now sought for the following; optimized solar pv panel configuration to comprise of up to 33,203 m2 of solar panels on ground mounted frames; increase to the length of the 20 kv substation from 9.98m to 11.975m to allow installation of required electrical equipment; increase in height to the permitted solar panels from 2.72 m to 2.82m and; permission to increase the operational period of the solar farm from 30 years to 35 years.
