- Retention permission for alterations to the nursing home at kilbarry not yet fully constructed, as previously granted planning permission – ref no. 17-418 and no. 19-266, to increase the permitted internal floor area from 4589.0 sqm to 5290.90 sqm. The following alterations are proposed
- Enlargement of the staff and communal facilities at ground floor level due to hiqa and operational requirements
- Enlargement of stair core 02 & 03 and assisted bedrooms no. 16 & 20 at ground floor, first floor & second floors in the western wing due fire certificate compliance
- Removal of external steps from stair core 02 & 03 in lieu of 2 no. Part m compliant external ramps
- Enlargement of 2 no. Internal courtyards due to hiqa compliance
- All external elevations altered to suit revised internal layouts to include removal and relocation of windows and door location on north west, north east, south east & south west elevations, additional brick added to south east, south west & north east elevation & removal of external steps from stair core 02 at south west elevation & removal of external steps from stair core 03 at north east elevation
- New external kitchen extract duct added to south west elevation to ral colour 7016 to match adjoining windows
- Alterations to boundary treatments due to operational requirements. Removal of permitted sod & stone ditch, as granted under planning permission17-418, in lieu of palladine fence to south west boundary and timber post & rail fence with hedging to north west boundary, north east boundary & south east boundary
- Change to red line boundary to include new external open space area for nursing home, service yard and additional 28 no. Car parking spaces
