A proposed sports and recreational development adjacent to the existing community centre and playing filed, the proposed development consists of the construction of a new full size gaelic football pitch together with associated drainage works and led pitch floodlighting with supporting masts extending to 21 meters in height. Permission is also sought to construct the following (a) upgrade the existing car parking area and to construct a new car parking area both to be finished with tarmacadam with a total number of 224 spaces and 2 no. Bus parking bays with associated kerbing, to erect safety signage, to install street furniture, bins and safety bollards together with landscaping soft areas, (b) to construct a 3 metre wide walkway measuring 710 metres with led safety lighting, (c) to erect a 2 m high security fence around main boundaries and pitch railing around the perimeter of the proposed playing pitch and (d) to upgrade and widen the existing site entrance. Permission is also sought to (e) install a new surface water drainage system with road gullies, attenuation tanks and petrol interceptors with outlet pipe connected to existing stream and for permission to connect to all on-site ancillary services together with all associated site works
