Protected structure; the development will consist of (1) a change of use of the existing first and second floor levels of the original house from office use to residential use and to provide for 1 new one bedroom apartment at each of these levels. The new apartment at first floor level will include the insertion of a gallery (mezzanine) bedroom space in the existing rear room. (2) a rearrangement of the existing (non original) staircase from 2nd to 3rd level to facilitate a new through passage from front to rear of the proposed new apartment at 2nd floor level. (3) ancillary fire protection works consequent on change of use will include: (a) the provision of the required level of the protection level of fire protection to floors separating ground and first floor level and 1st and 2nd floor level and a new fire rated ceiling separating the new apartment at 2nd floor level and the existing apartment at 3rd floor level. (b) the provision of the required level of fire protection to the main staircase of the original house by means of; 1 no. New internal fire lobby to each of the 2 existing offices at ground floor level of the original house; the provision of fire lobbies at the interface of the original house and the modern rear return at ground, first and second floor levels of the return. (4) general ancillary works will include the provision of all electrical mechanical and drainage services required to facilitate the proposed development.
