Protected structure: permission for development at a site c. 0.13ha (1,306 sq m) rps reference no. 2920 & 8537) the development proposes the demolition of total of c. 264 sq m including the existing flat roof terrace on price's lane and the link corridor to the rear of the flat roof terrace; the demolition of a pitched roof along price's lane and the removal of the existing roof structure to the existing return within the interior of the existing block where additional floors are proposed. The proposed development will principally consist of the provision of 17 no. New bedrooms to the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of the hotel and alterations to existing bedroom layouts on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, resulting in an increase in the total number of bedrooms from 93 no. To 104 no, an overall increase of 11 no. Bedrooms; the relocation of the existing cold water storage tank from the fifth floor level (attic level) to the ground floor and basement levels and all associated internal and external works. The development proposes an increase in floor area from c. 5,516 sq m to c. 5,879 sq m. There is no increase in height beyond the highest point of the existing building.
