In accordance with the provision of part 9, planning and development regulations 2001 (as amended), propose to carry out works at: balbriggan garda station site, drogheda st, tankardstown, balbriggan, co. Dublin (eircode: k32 ew0i). The proposed development will comprise the installation of a new 615mm high palisade fence fixed to the rear at the top of the existing 2050mm high rendered block boundary wall, increasing it to an overall height of 2420mm, at the south and west perimeter boundary walls of balbriggan garda station site. A desktop appropriate assessment screening was undertaken for the proposed development. It concluded that there will be no likely significant effects on any natura 2000 sites, either alone or in combination with, any other plans or projects. A preliminary examination for environmental impact assessment and appropriate assessment screening was undertaken for the proposed development. It concluded that having regard to the nature, scale and location of the proposed project, eia screening or an appropriate assessment is not required. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to an bord pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment.
