- In accordance with part xi of the planning and development act 2000 (as amended) and part 8 of the planning and development regulations 2001 (as amended), fingal county council hereby gives notice of the proposed works listed hereunder to be carried out at corduff park, blackcourt road, dublin
- Corduff park improvement works: i. Extension to and resurfacing of the existing all-weather pitch to measure 100m x 64m including replacement of 6no. 18m high flood lighting and 3.5m high weld mesh fencing and ancillary equipment. Ii. Development of a new visitor car park consisting of 34no. Car parking bays with 3no. Universal access parking spaces, 10no. Bicycle stands and 6no. Cargo bike spaces, 4no. Motorcycle parking spaces and 4no. Ev ready parking bays. Iii. Re-location of the existing 12m long container for sports equipment storage to the southern side of the all-weather pitch with new covered bicycle parking area consisting of 10no. Bicycle stands. Iv. The removal of low stub walls enclosing the existing all-weather pitch & adjoining storage area with re-location of the existing solid bar metal railing to the main park entrance on blackcourt road. V. Provision of a new public playground (with ducting for cctv) measuring 500m2 & consisting of 10no. Play items and 10no. Bicycle stands and 4no. Cargo bike spaces. Vi. Improvements to the existing grass sports pitch including re-seeding and installation of 3no. Additional items of outdoor exercise equipment. Vii. Development of improved shared path network up to 3m wide including a new gated pedestrian entrance along the western boundary with edgewood lawns, new bicycle parking area with 5no. Bicycle stands and new internal footpath layout. Viii. Park entrance improvements including signage and ancillary works. Ix. Renovation of the existing community garden to include new footpaths, landscaping and raised beds. X. Landscaping works to include tree works, new tree planting and grassland meadows. Xi. All ancillary services and ground works to accommodate the works. In accordance with article 81 and article 120 of the planning & development regulations 2001 (as amended), fingal county council has concluded from a preliminary examination that no significant effects on the environment are likely as a result of the proposed development and that an environmental impact assessment is not required. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to an bord pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment. Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at https://consult. Fingal. Ie/en/browse and inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy from thursday 9th november 2023 up to and including thursday 7th december 2023 (excluding weekends and bank holidays) at the following locations: fingal county council, county hall, main street, swords, co.
