Alterations and changes relating to the previously permitted development ref. 18/627 (the development of a four storey plus rooftop plantroom extension to the existing hospital to provide a 60 bed ward block along with minor adjustments to the adjacent hospital buildings and associated site works and services. The development also includes 20 public car parking spaces and associated boundary screening). The application site is located within an architectural conservation area and there is an existing protected structure on the hospital campus (hospital chapel rps s. E. 30). No works are proposed to the protected structure as part of this application. The alterations to be retained comprise minor revisions to the building plan setting out further to additional site survey information. The revisions result in a final gross internal area of 5334sq. M compared to the previously granted floor area of 5353sq. M. The proposed changes to previously permitted development will include: increase in the l4 main roof parapet level by 360mm, and increase in the l5 stair 2 lift core roof parapet level by 1240mm; relocation of an external double-glazed aluminium screen from the north elevation to the west elevation at stair 2 lift core, the omission of 4 no.
