- Conservation and development of hazelwood house, a protected structure (rps no. 293se), including its adjoining wings and extensions for public assembly, and office use, with retail in the ground floor of the east wing accessed from the stableyard and staff facilities in the west wing comprising: i) demolition of three storey concrete escape stair extension (18.75 sq. M. ) and adjoining three storey toilet block extension (4 sq. M) and insertion of new platform lift within the house to provide universal access to the lower ground floor (basement), ground floor and first floor; ii) realignment of the terraces to the south of hazelwood house and extension towards the distillery building; iii) installation of an ‘eye-catcher’ (focal point) within the garden; iv) provision of screening of the facade of the distillery building along with external planting to the foreground
- Conservation and development of the stable buildings to the east of hazelwood house to provide a new café and reception in the south range with a new single storey extension on the southern elevation of the building (97 sq. M. ) and visitor wc’s, storage, tasting rooms and a micro-distillery in the north range
