Following receipt of the request for additional information, the proposal has been revised and now incorporates the following: a reduction in the total number of dwellings to 82 units now comprising 12 no. One-bedroom units, 10 no. Two-bedroom units, 56 no. Three-bedroom units and 4 no. Four bedroom units in a mixture of apartments, duplexes and houses ranging in height from 2-4 storeys. There are balconies and terraces within the development. A total of 126 no. Surface car parking spaces and 82 cycle parking spaces are provided to serve the development. Permission is also sought for 2 no. Pedestrian access points on to the adamstown link road (sd04a/0964, pl 06s. 211506), bin storage facilities and revised site development and landscape works. Vehicular access to serve the development will be taken from the r120 lock road/newcastle road, via the existing access point to the hansted development. All on a site of approx. 1.69 hectares.
