Extension to existing car and coach parking facility adjoining "the rainbows end" dwelling and across the road from "the merry ploughboy pub" onto lands owned by the applicant and adjoining existing car parking facility & "rainbows end" to provide an additional two coach and thirty car parking spaces; re-locate the existing entrances to a single entrance to provide greater sightlines and improved traffic control onto edmondstown road and to provide a set back from the road to improve pedestrian safety, to achieve this it will be necessary to re-grade (re-level) the adjoining lands and part of the existing parking facility to achieve a more uniform slope. It is proposed to use an environmentally friendly surface such as "grasscrete" or similar product, to re-surface in tarmacadam part of the existing parking area and all ancillary site boundary and associated site works.
