Construction of a new building (2,834sq. M gross floor area) to accommodate the relocation of the existing licenced discount food store into a new store format (1,685sq. M net sales area); subdivision and reconfiguration of the existing building (1,653sq. M gross floor area) to comprise 1 cafe/restaurant (335sq. M) and 4 retail/commerical units (1,280sq. M) and all associated elevational amendments. The development also comprises the relocation of the permitted pocket park within the site and relocation of the existing vehicluar access/egress point to the old blessington road westward by 72m and associated reconfiguration of the internal access road and car park. The revised surface car park arrangement provides a total of 140 car parking spaces (in lieu of the previously permitted 110 car parking spaces). Permission is also sought for tenant signage on each building, totem signage, landscaping and boundary treatments, bicycle parking and all associated site and development works. The proposed development will replace the development previously permitted on the site (reg. Ref. Sd11a/0027, an bord pleanala reference pl06s. 238834).
