  • Permission is sought by pames developments limited for modifications to a previously approved development, register reference 2290/19 for 29 apartments at 6, 6a & 7 pim street, dublin
  • The proposed modifications comprise the following
  • Reconfiguration of the main internal stairs, lift core and common access corridors together with the removal of the second stairs from the rear courtyard to the first floor and consequent reconfiguration of the apartment layouts. These modifications are necessary to achieve compliance with part b fire and part m access of the second schedule of the building regulations. Whilst there is no increase in the overall number of units, the modified scheme will provide a revised mix of 9 studio apartments (previously 10 studio apartments), 14 one- bedroom apartments (previously 13 one-bedroom apartments), and 6 two- bedroom apartments (no change)
  • Resultant alterations to the elevations arising from the modifications noted in item 1 above to include extending the building footprint to the site boundary at the back of the pim street public footpath over the full width of the site
  • Provision of a railed enclosure of minimum 1.0m height to enclose the private amenity space provided for the two ground floor apartments on to pim street and provision of a 1.8m high privacy screen to the penthouse roof garden to apartment number 27.4.   • Permission to omit the requirement at condition 7(c) of planning permission 2290/19 to provide shower and changing facilities in the cycle storage area
