Permission for development consisting of amendments to previously approved planning permission reg. Ref 17/386 for extension and alterations to existing oriel house to provide accommodation for a relocated approve centre ( as defined in mental health act 2001). Oriel house is located on the grounds of st. Davnet's campus in close proximity to the existing main hospital building. The development is located within the curtilage of three protected structures. The amendments to extension include: reduction of overall eight of the building, reduction of roof eaves overhang, replacement of zinc roof finish to flat roofs with pvc single ply membrane finish, reduction of windows height and replacement of timber spandrel panels with glazed panels. There is no increase to overall floor area to the previously approved new extension. Permission is also sought for new external aluminium glazed door in the existing building. Revisions to previously approved site works to include change of specification to perimeter fencing, removal of stone cladding from external retaining walls lieu of concrete finish, removal of raised beds and gazebo in the gardens, new external totem sig and new surface lpg gas storage compound. Total site area remands unchanged: 8703s. M (0.87 ha) in extent.
