10 year planning permission and a 35 year operational life for the installation and operation of five (5) wind turbines, each with a maximum tip height of 86m and a total capacity of 4.9 mw, construction of associated foundations, crane bases, and hardstanding areas (total area approximately 2,625 m²), on-site medium voltage (mv) substation to esb networks specifications, with approximately 2.5km of underground 20kv cable connecting to the existing esb dungloe 38kv substation, construction of approximately 2km of internal access tracks, installation of on-site spoil deposition areas, laydown areas, and temporary construction compound, including welfare facilities and materials storage, provision of service access for light vehicles via the existing diamond road, provision of temporary delivery access via the existing n56, installation of approximately 1.2km of underground cabling connecting the turbines and erection of site signage and all ancillary site development works. The site of the proposed development has a total area of c. 25.24 hectares. The development is covered by the provisions of the (red iii) renewable energy directive iii (directive (eu) 2023/2413).
