  • Additions, alterations and modification to existing/permitted industrial facilities. The proposed development comprises of the following
  • An extension to plant and equipment associated with fab 34 located on an existing/permitted concrete slab to the rear of fab
  • The development also comprises a modification to the proposed boiler and chiller building to facilitate this development reducing its enclosed area from 22,188 square metres to 19,208 square metres
  • The proposed equipment comprises 9 no. Holding and treatment tanks located in a sealed reinforced concrete bund sized 542 square metres approximately together with associated pumps, pipe bridges and equipment. The tanks vary in height from 5 metres to 9 metres approximately
  • The permitted (abp ref. Pl. 09.304672-19 / kcc reg. Ref. 1991) two storey boiler and chiller building is reduced by 2,980 square metres approximately, including modifications to the existing elevations, relocated escape stairs and miscellaneous layout modifications. This is a site to which the chemicals act (control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances) regulations 2015 (s. I. 209 of 2015) applies
